Have you ever been inspired
by someone so incredible,
amazing, intelligent and somebody
who has the guts to get out there and
save lives.Well Ben carson is one of
those people, Now my guess is nobody in
this room has a single clue about this
person, and I reckon what he does is
something no one will have heard of.
He is a neurosurgeon and a neurosurgeon
works with the brain, spinal cord and the
peripheral nerves. He said that “if you
have an average brain You are capable of
pretty much anything possible, brains can
also process more than 2 million bits of
information in one second, Your brain never
forgets anything you’ve ever thought said
or heard and with all of that up there why
would you ever utter the words.
“I CANT” Which is true because he is a leader
and he has been through so many hard rough
times but what he is telling you is never give up
because you will reach your goal, if you never stop.
He once saved 2 baby’s that were conjoined by the
back of the head and he was the first person
in the world to successfully part them!
Now everyone here must be thinking man
this guy must have grown up with a pretty
rich family to become this intelligent, and
This guy must of easily afforded university.
But you know the incredible thing!
He was born into being one of the poorest of
the poor! It was because of his mothers training
and pirceverance not mentioning his smart brain
that a possible thing like that could build up!
Now nobody here is poor so you have an even
bigger chance then him to change the world!
When Ben was a child he was being bullied a
lot and one day when his bully came up to him
and punched him He ran and got a pocket knife,
came back and lunged at his bully. It hit his
tummy and he died! Just kidding, it hit his bully’s
belt buckle and snapped in half but if he had killed
him he never would have become a leader and a the
worlds best neurosurgeon.
A quote by ben carson was
“Happiness doesn't result from what we get,
but from what we give.” He has saved many
lives and he may have earnt thousands even
millions of dollars but the thing he loves the
most is when he gave adults and children a
second chance to live the life they have dreamed.
Now the point of this speech was to tell
you what an incredible person he is and
that you should follow your dreams wherever
they take you whether you want to be an all
black, singer or even a neurosurgeon. And that
everybody sitting in this room is a 100% leader
just like ben and even if you don’t know it it is
in you. I want to end this speech by saying you
have only heard like 1%, less even of what he Ben
carson has achieved and done, but I am telling you
one thing right now and it may not be a fact but it
is my definite opinion, Ben carson is one inspiring person!
This year I really wanted to make an inspiring speech I person I have gone on about for years.
He isn't just a neurosurgeon, He's a leader, some people even said that he should run for president!
I think I did quite well seeing I did it in about 2-3 days and I actually made it to backup speech finalist which is quite a good ranking out my class of 25 people:)
I think next time I should work on a topic that is more gripping and persuading to kids rather than adults or older kids.
