My "Did you ever" Poem

This is my "Did you ever" Poem.
Can you see a pattern in it?
It is made like this.
It always starts with the words "Did you ever".
Then it has a question.
Then it has 3 sentences that have the same pattern.
Each sentence is made up of 2 words and the second word always has "ing" on the end.
The first word is always a noun and the second is a verb.
The last part is the recommendation for example,
"Do It" or "It's Dangerous!"

So if I was to make a poem about motorcycling it would look a bit like this.



Did you ever
go motorcycling?
Mouth wobbling
Teeth chattering
Wind blowing
Its sooooo fun!


And guess what, I did that in 20 seconds it's sooo easy!

A video I made with my classmates!

This is really funny and it took me 4 weeks of planning and writing the script and filming it and editing it!!!!
So much is involved even to do a 6 minute video!


We were learning to collaborate together to produce a funny comedy video.

I was really happy about how the movie went and I learnt how to work with others really well because sometimes we fought about things and we learnt over time how to work it out. We all managed to finish the video within 4 weeks. 1 week of planning, 1 week of writing 1 1/2 weeks of filming and 1/2 a week of editing and finishing.

In the end I reckon that we should definitely make another movie again in the future.
Also I think next time we should aim to finish quicker.

Roger and Hal 2. Characters

Roger
Roger loves his older brother Hal a lot, and even though
a small fight might pop up every so often.
They are great teammates and together they make incredible teamwork!
He has traveled all around the world to country's and islands.
He has discovered many things and even conquered world records by
being slowly lowered in a diving bell into the mouth of an active volcano!
Roger is incredibly strong he can lift 100kg rocks above his head and it is
quite a bit for an eleven year old boy!But Roger can handle more than that!
Roger has dived 300 feet down into an underwater city and wrestled with
a tiger shark, and even escaped from a pack of cannibals! Roger will never stop looking for tasty adventures!


This was really fun to do.
Everyone in my class took a book from home and had to write an explanation of a character, or in my case characters!
I wrote about the to main ones and my favourite to.
Roger and Hal, I think I did quite well seeing we only had about half an hour to do it, next time I reckon I could maybe add a bit more exitement into it to make it more interesting.

My Monet Garden Painting

This is my Monet Garden Art piece!
This took about 3 or 4 weeks to make and in the end it looked really good and it was worth making it!
I wanted to make mine different from everyone else's so I made a skinny fence that was in good condition and I only a small amount of flowers, no one else had that. I think next time I should maybe improve and practise my sponging a bit more.
First we had to masking tape the fence.
Next we had to sponge on the grass with green and yellow paint, then sponge on the bushes.
After tat we had to make the sky by putting lite blue, dark blue and white paint onto the end of a piece of cardboard and swipe it onto the paper to make the sky!
Then we dabbed on the flowers and sponged on the pathway, pulled the masking and we were done!
I think next time I should add more colours and do a different design.

My Speech on Ben Carson

Have you ever been inspired

by someone so incredible,

amazing, intelligent and somebody

who has the guts to get out there and

save lives.Well Ben carson is one of

those people, Now my guess is nobody in

this room has a single clue about this

person, and I reckon what he does is

something no one will have heard of.

He is a neurosurgeon and a neurosurgeon

works with the brain, spinal cord and the

peripheral nerves. He said that “if you

have an average brain You are capable of

pretty much anything possible, brains can

also process more than 2 million bits of

information in one second, Your brain never

forgets anything you’ve ever thought said

or heard and with all of that up there why

would you ever utter the words.

“I CANT” Which is true because he is a leader

and he has been through so many hard rough

times but what he is telling you is never give up

because you will reach your goal, if you never stop.

He once saved 2 baby’s that were conjoined by the

back of the head and he was the first person

in the world to successfully part them!

Now everyone here must be thinking man

this guy must have grown up with a pretty

rich family to become this intelligent, and

This guy must of easily afforded university.

But you know the incredible thing!

He was born into being one of the poorest of

the poor! It was because of his mothers training

and pirceverance not mentioning his smart brain

that a possible thing like that could build up!

Now nobody here is poor so you have an even

bigger chance then him to change the world!

When Ben was a child he was being bullied a

lot and one day when his bully came up to him

and punched him He ran and got a pocket knife,

came back and lunged at his bully. It hit his

tummy and he died! Just kidding, it hit his bully’s

belt buckle and snapped in half but if he had killed

him he never would have become a leader and a the

worlds best neurosurgeon.

A quote by ben carson was

“Happiness doesn't result from what we get,

but from what we give.” He has saved many

lives and he may have earnt thousands even

millions of dollars but the thing he loves the

most is when he gave adults and children a

second chance to live the life they have dreamed.

Now the point of this speech was to tell

you what an incredible person he is and

that you should follow your dreams wherever

they take you whether you want to be an all

black, singer or even a neurosurgeon. And that

everybody sitting in this room is a 100% leader

just like ben and even if you don’t know it it is

in you. I want to end this speech by saying you

have only heard like 1%, less even of what he Ben

carson has achieved and done, but I am telling you

one thing right now and it may not be a fact but it

is my definite opinion, Ben carson is one inspiring person!

This year I really wanted to make an inspiring speech I person I have gone on about for years.
He isn't just a neurosurgeon, He's a leader, some people even said that he should run for president!
I think I did quite well seeing I did it in about 2-3 days and I actually made it to backup speech finalist which is quite a good ranking out my class of 25 people:)
I think next time I should work on a topic that is more gripping and persuading to kids rather than adults or older kids.
